Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to address challenges in pediatric care, particularly in remote or underserved areas. This thesis investigates the impact of telemedicine on pediatric care through a case study approach. The study aims to explore how telemedicine technologies are being utilized in pediatric care settings, assess the benefits and limitations of telemedicine in pediatric healthcare delivery, and understand the perceptions of healthcare providers and caregivers towards telemedicine in pediatric care. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine existing research on telemedicine in pediatric care, highlighting its potential advantages such as improving access to specialized care, enhancing patient outcomes, and reducing healthcare costs. The review also identified challenges associated with telemedicine implementation, including technological barriers, regulatory issues, and concerns about the quality of care delivered remotely. The research methodology employed in this study includes qualitative interviews with healthcare providers, caregivers, and administrators involved in pediatric telemedicine services.
