This thesis explores the implementation of telemedicine in pediatric care to enhance access and quality of healthcare services. The study begins by providing an overview of the background of telemedicine in healthcare and the specific needs and challenges within pediatric care. The problem statement highlights the existing gaps in access to pediatric healthcare services and the potential benefits of telemedicine in addressing these challenges. The objectives of the study are to assess the current state of telemedicine implementation in pediatric care, identify barriers and facilitators to its adoption, evaluate the impact of telemedicine on access and quality of care, and provide recommendations for successful implementation. The limitations and scope of the study are outlined to provide a clear understanding of the research focus and boundaries. The significance of the study lies in its potential to improve healthcare outcomes for pediatric patients, particularly those in underserved or remote areas.
