This thesis investigates the impact of telemedicine on pediatric care in underserved communities. The use of telemedicine has gained significant attention in recent years as a potential solution to address healthcare disparities, particularly in remote and underserved regions. This study aims to explore how telemedicine interventions can improve access to quality pediatric care and healthcare outcomes for children in underserved communities. The research begins with a comprehensive literature review to provide a theoretical background on telemedicine in pediatric care, examining its benefits, challenges, and existing research gaps. Following this, the study details the methodology employed, including data collection methods, sample selection criteria, and data analysis techniques. Findings from the research are discussed in Chapter Four, highlighting the key outcomes and implications of telemedicine implementation in pediatric care for underserved communities. This section presents a detailed analysis of the data collected, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities associated with telemedicine adoption in pediatric healthcare settings. The study concludes with Chapter Five, summarizing the key findings, implications, and recommendations for future research and practice. The research findings suggest that telemedicine has the potential to significantly improve access to pediatric care in underserved communities, leading to enhanced healthcare outcomes for children.
