This thesis explores the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma, a prevalent chronic respiratory condition among children worldwide. Pediatric asthma poses significant challenges for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers due to its complex nature and the need for ongoing monitoring and management. Traditional healthcare delivery models may not always meet the evolving needs of pediatric asthma care, leading to gaps in accessibility, timeliness, and quality of care. Telemedicine, which involves the use of technology to deliver healthcare services remotely, has emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges. The study aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine on the management of pediatric asthma, focusing on its effectiveness in improving patient outcomes, enhancing access to care, and promoting self-management skills among children and their families. A comprehensive review of the literature will be conducted to explore the current landscape of telemedicine in pediatric asthma care, including its benefits, limitations, and best practices. The research methodology will involve both quantitative and qualitative approaches to assess the experiences and perceptions of patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers regarding telemedicine interventions for pediatric asthma. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the efficacy of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma and its potential to transform the delivery of care for children with chronic respiratory conditions. The implications of the research findings will be discussed in the context of improving healthcare outcomes, reducing healthcare disparities, and enhancing the overall quality of life for pediatric asthma patients.
