Childhood obesity is a growing public health concern worldwide, with significant implications for long-term health outcomes. This thesis aims to investigate the impact of childhood obesity on various aspects of health in later life. The study will explore the prevalence of childhood obesity, risk factors associated with its development, and the potential long-term consequences on physical and mental health. Chapter One provides an introduction to the topic, presenting the background information on childhood obesity and its increasing prevalence globally. The problem statement highlights the significance of addressing childhood obesity and its implications for long-term health outcomes. The objectives of the study are outlined to investigate the relationship between childhood obesity and future health risks. The limitations and scope of the study are also discussed, along with the significance of the research and the structure of the thesis.
