Telemedicine, the use of technology to provide healthcare services remotely, has emerged as a promising solution to address the challenges of access to pediatric healthcare services. This thesis explores the utilization of telemedicine for improved access to pediatric healthcare services, aiming to enhance the delivery of care to children, especially in underserved and remote areas. The introduction provides an overview of the current landscape of pediatric healthcare access issues and introduces the concept of telemedicine as a potential solution. The background of the study delves into the historical development of telemedicine and its applications in pediatric care, setting the context for the research. The problem statement identifies the gaps and limitations in existing pediatric healthcare access and highlights the need for innovative solutions such as telemedicine.
