Abstract
Telehealth has emerged as a promising solution to enhance healthcare delivery, particularly in managing chronic illnesses among elderly patients. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of telehealth interventions in improving the management of chronic illnesses in the elderly population. The research focuses on exploring the impact of telehealth on health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and healthcare utilization among elderly patients with chronic conditions. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of health data and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and elderly patients. A systematic review of existing literature will be conducted to establish a comprehensive understanding of the current state of telehealth interventions for managing chronic illnesses in elderly populations. The findings from this research are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of telehealth in improving the health outcomes and quality of life of elderly patients with chronic illnesses.
