The use of telehealth in managing chronic illnesses among elderly patients is a growing area of interest in healthcare. This thesis explores the efficacy of telehealth interventions in improving the management of chronic illnesses among elderly patients. The study aims to investigate the impact of telehealth technologies on the health outcomes, quality of life, and healthcare utilization of elderly patients with chronic illnesses. The research methodology employed in this study includes a comprehensive literature review to examine existing evidence on the use of telehealth in managing chronic illnesses among elderly populations. A mixed-methods approach will be utilized to collect and analyze data from elderly patients receiving telehealth interventions, healthcare providers, and caregivers. The study will also assess the barriers and facilitators to the implementation of telehealth programs for elderly patients with chronic illnesses. The findings from this study will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of telehealth interventions in managing chronic illnesses among elderly patients.
