Abstract
Telehealth has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare delivery, particularly in rural communities where access to traditional healthcare services may be limited. This thesis explores the impact of telehealth on patient care outcomes in a rural community setting. The study aims to investigate how the utilization of telehealth technologies influences patient care quality, accessibility, and overall outcomes in rural areas. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to provide a theoretical framework for understanding the potential benefits and challenges of implementing telehealth in rural communities. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and patient records analysis to assess patient satisfaction, health outcomes, and cost-effectiveness of telehealth services compared to traditional in-person care. Findings from the study revealed that telehealth interventions have the potential to significantly improve patient care outcomes in rural communities. The convenience and accessibility of telehealth services were identified as key factors contributing to increased patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.
