Abstract
Telehealth has emerged as a promising solution to improve healthcare access and management, particularly for older adults with chronic diseases. This comparative study aims to investigate the impact of telehealth on chronic disease management in older adults. The research explores how telehealth interventions influence health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and healthcare utilization in comparison to traditional healthcare delivery methods. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of health data and qualitative assessment of patient experiences. Through a comprehensive literature review, ten key themes related to telehealth and chronic disease management in older adults are identified. These themes inform the development of research questions and guide the investigation process. The research methodology section outlines the study design, participant recruitment strategies, data collection methods, and analysis techniques. The study sample includes older adults with various chronic conditions, who are divided into telehealth intervention and control groups. Health indicators, such as disease progression, medication adherence, and quality of life, are assessed over a specified period to determine the effectiveness of telehealth interventions. Findings from the study are discussed in detail, highlighting the impact of telehealth on chronic disease management outcomes.
