Telehealth has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare delivery, especially in managing chronic illnesses among older adults. This thesis investigates the impact of telehealth on managing chronic illnesses in older adults from a nursing perspective. The study aims to explore the effectiveness of telehealth interventions, identify the challenges and limitations, and assess the overall significance of telehealth in improving healthcare outcomes for older adults with chronic illnesses. The research methodology employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of telehealth intervention outcomes and qualitative exploration of nursing perspectives on telehealth implementation. Data collection methods include surveys, interviews, and case studies conducted with healthcare providers, older adult patients, and caregivers. The study sample comprises healthcare professionals specializing in geriatric care, older adults with chronic illnesses, and family caregivers involved in telehealth interventions. The literature review provides a comprehensive overview of existing research on telehealth applications in managing chronic illnesses, highlighting the benefits and limitations of telehealth interventions in older adult populations.
