This thesis explores the impact of telehealth specifically in home care settings, where patients receive care in the comfort of their own homes. The research aims to investigate how the implementation of telehealth interventions influences patient outcomes, including health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and healthcare costs. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telehealth and its applications in home care settings. The literature review highlights the benefits and challenges associated with telehealth, as well as the factors that influence its effectiveness in improving patient outcomes. Through a systematic analysis of ten key studies, this chapter provides a critical overview of the current state of research in this area. The research methodology chapter outlines the design of a mixed-methods study that includes both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
