Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of telehealth services on chronic disease management in elderly patients. The aging population and the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases present significant challenges to healthcare systems worldwide. Telehealth services, which encompass the use of technology to deliver healthcare remotely, have emerged as a potential solution to improve access to care and enhance disease management for elderly patients with chronic conditions. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of telehealth services in supporting the management of chronic diseases in the elderly population. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telehealth services and chronic disease management in elderly patients. This review synthesizes current knowledge on the subject and identifies gaps in the literature that warrant further investigation. The research methodology section outlines the design of the study, including data collection methods, participant selection criteria, and data analysis techniques. Findings from the study reveal the potential benefits of telehealth services in improving access to care, enhancing patient outcomes, and increasing patient satisfaction among elderly individuals with chronic diseases.
