This thesis explores the impact of telehealth on managing chronic conditions in elderly patients. The aging population globally presents challenges in providing effective healthcare services, especially in managing chronic conditions. Telehealth, which involves the use of technology to deliver healthcare remotely, has emerged as a potential solution to improve access and quality of care for elderly patients with chronic conditions. This research aims to investigate how telehealth interventions can positively influence the management of chronic conditions in elderly patients. The study begins with an introduction that provides an overview of the importance of the topic and the rationale for conducting the research. The background of the study delves into the increasing prevalence of chronic conditions among the elderly population and the limitations of traditional healthcare delivery systems in meeting their needs. The problem statement highlights the gaps in current healthcare practices and the potential of telehealth to address these challenges. The objectives of the study outline the specific goals that this research aims to achieve, focusing on assessing the impact of telehealth on managing chronic conditions in elderly patients. The literature review chapter critically examines existing research on telehealth interventions for managing chronic conditions in elderly patients. The review covers ten key themes, including the effectiveness of telehealth interventions, patient satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and barriers to implementation.
