Music therapy has emerged as a non-pharmacological intervention that holds promise in alleviating pain and enhancing the overall patient experience. This thesis explores the impact of music therapy on pain management in pediatric patients through a randomized controlled trial. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of music therapy in reducing pain intensity and improving pain-related outcomes in a pediatric population. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the significance of pain management in pediatric patients and the potential benefits of music therapy as an alternative intervention.
