Telehealth technology has emerged as a transformative tool in healthcare, offering new avenues for providing patient care remotely. This thesis explores the impact of telehealth technology on patient care outcomes in nursing practice. The study aims to investigate how telehealth technology influences patient care delivery, patient satisfaction, and overall healthcare outcomes within a nursing context. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to understand the current state of telehealth technology implementation in nursing practice and its effects on patient care outcomes. The research methodology involved a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Surveys and interviews were conducted with nursing professionals, patients, and healthcare administrators to gather insights on their experiences with telehealth technology and its impact on patient care outcomes. The data collected were analyzed using statistical tools and thematic analysis to identify patterns and trends. The findings of the study revealed that telehealth technology has a significant impact on patient care outcomes in nursing practice. Nurses reported increased efficiency in delivering care remotely, improved patient monitoring, and enhanced communication with patients through telehealth platforms. Patients expressed high levels of satisfaction with telehealth services, citing convenience, accessibility, and personalized care as key benefits. Healthcare administrators noted cost savings and improved resource allocation as positive outcomes of telehealth technology implementation. Despite the benefits, the study also identified challenges and limitations associated with telehealth technology in nursing practice. Issues such as technological barriers, privacy concerns, and disparities in access to telehealth services were reported as barriers to optimal patient care outcomes. The study highlights the need for ongoing training and support for nursing professionals to maximize the benefits of telehealth technology and address potential challenges. In conclusion, this thesis demonstrates the significant impact of telehealth technology on patient care outcomes in nursing practice. The findings provide valuable insights for healthcare organizations looking to integrate telehealth technology into their care delivery models.
