Thesis Abstract

This project aims to explore the intricate relationship between biochemistry and drug metabolism in the brain. The brain is a complex organ with unique biochemical processes that play a crucial role in drug metabolism. Understanding how drugs are metabolized in the brain is essential for optimizing drug therapies and minimizing adverse effects. This project will involve studying the enzymatic pathways involved in drug metabolism, investigating the blood-brain barrier and its impact on drug transport, and analyzing the role of neurotransmitters in modulating drug metabolism. The findings from this study will contribute to the development of more effective and targeted drug therapies for neurological disorders.
