Tele-dermatology represents a promising approach to address the challenges of limited access to dermatological care for underserved populations. This thesis investigates the efficacy of tele-dermatology in improving access to dermatological services for individuals who face barriers to traditional in-person consultations. The study aims to explore the impact of tele-dermatology on the delivery of dermatological care, patient outcomes, and healthcare disparities among underserved populations. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of patient data with qualitative interviews and surveys to gather insights from both patients and healthcare providers. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine the current state of tele-dermatology, existing barriers to care, and potential benefits of implementing tele-dermatology services for underserved populations. Findings from the study reveal that tele-dermatology has the potential to significantly improve access to dermatological care for underserved populations, reducing wait times for appointments, increasing patient satisfaction, and facilitating timely diagnosis and treatment.
