This research project aims to explore the use of virtual reality (VR) as a tool for managing dental anxiety. Dental anxiety is a common issue that can significantly impact a patient's willingness to seek dental care and adhere to treatment plans. The study will investigate the potential of VR-based interventions in reducing dental anxiety and improving the overall dental experience for anxious patients. The project will involve a systematic review of existing literature, as well as a pilot study to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of VR interventions in a dental setting. The findings of this research may have implications for the integration of VR technology in dental practice to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction.
