This research project seeks to investigate the relationship between oral health and Parkinson's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor and non-motor symptoms. While the motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease have been extensively studied, the non-motor manifestations, including oral health issues, have received less attention. The study will explore the prevalence of oral health problems in individuals with Parkinson's disease, such as xerostomia, dysphagia, and periodontal disease, and examine the potential impact of these issues on the overall well-being of patients. By elucidating the oral health challenges associated with Parkinson's disease, this research aims to contribute to a more comprehensive approach to the management of the condition.
