Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to evaluate the impact of different types of oral cancer screening methods on early detection and patient outcomes. Oral cancer is a significant public health concern, with a high mortality rate attributed to late-stage diagnosis. Various screening techniques, including visual examination, tissue fluorescence imaging, and salivary biomarker analysis, have been proposed for early detection of oral cancer. This study will compare the effectiveness, accuracy, and feasibility of different screening methods, with a focus on their potential to improve early diagnosis and survival rates. By identifying the strengths and limitations of existing screening approaches, the project seeks to provide insights into optimizing oral cancer screening protocols and enhancing clinical practice in oral cancer detection and management.
