This study aims to investigate the efficacy of laser therapy in managing oral mucositis in these patients. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, discussing the background of oral mucositis in cancer patients, the problem statement highlighting the challenges faced in managing this condition, the objectives of the study, the limitations, scope, significance of the study, the structure of the thesis, and the definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review on oral mucositis, cancer treatment-related oral complications, the pathophysiology of oral mucositis, current treatment modalities, and the role of laser therapy in managing oral mucositis.
