This thesis investigates the effectiveness of using virtual reality (VR) technology in managing dental anxiety among patients. Virtual reality has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare settings for managing anxiety and pain. This study aims to assess the efficacy of VR interventions in reducing dental anxiety and improving patient experiences during dental procedures. The research begins with a comprehensive literature review that explores the existing knowledge on dental anxiety, virtual reality technology, and their applications in healthcare. The review highlights the potential benefits of VR in creating immersive and distraction techniques to alleviate anxiety and discomfort in dental settings.
