Teledentistry is a rapidly evolving field that leverages technology to provide oral health care services remotely. This thesis aims to assess the efficacy of teledentistry in improving access to and quality of oral health care services. The study will investigate the impact of teledentistry on patient outcomes, satisfaction levels, cost-effectiveness, and overall effectiveness compared to traditional in-person care. A comprehensive review of existing literature on teledentistry will be conducted to provide a theoretical framework for the study. The research methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis of teledentistry services. Findings from this study will contribute to the growing body of knowledge on teledentistry and inform policymakers, healthcare providers, and patients on the potential benefits and challenges of integrating teledentistry into oral health care delivery systems. The results of this research will have implications for improving access to oral health care services, especially in underserved and remote areas, and may pave the way for the widespread adoption of teledentistry as a viable and effective model of care delivery.
