Teeth whitening has become a popular cosmetic dental procedure in recent years, with various techniques available to achieve a brighter and whiter smile. This thesis focuses on the assessment of the efficacy of different teeth whitening techniques in dentistry. The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of commonly used teeth whitening methods, including in-office professional treatments and over-the-counter products, in achieving desirable whitening outcomes. The research begins with a comprehensive review of relevant literature on teeth whitening techniques, including the mechanisms of action, safety considerations, and factors influencing treatment outcomes. This literature review provides a solid foundation for understanding the current landscape of teeth whitening in dentistry. The methodology section outlines the research design, sample selection criteria, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques employed in this study. Data collection involves assessing the baseline tooth shade of participants, implementing the whitening treatments, and evaluating the post-treatment results using standardized shade guides and digital imaging techniques. The findings of this study are discussed in detail in Chapter Four, where the efficacy of each whitening technique is critically analyzed based on the degree of shade improvement, treatment duration, potential side effects, and patient satisfaction.
