The role of gender in criminal behavior and the criminal justice system

Thesis Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of gender on criminal behavior and the criminal justice system. It will explore the differences in the types of crimes committed by males and females, as well as the factors that contribute to gender disparities in criminal involvement. Additionally, the research will investigate how gender influences experiences within the criminal justice system, including arrest, prosecution, and sentencing. By analyzing the role of gender in criminal behavior and the criminal justice system, this study seeks to contribute to a better understanding of gender-specific issues in criminology.
