Corruption has been a longstanding issue in Nigeria, plaguing various sectors and hindering the country's development. This research project aims to explore the problems and prospects of eradicating corruption in Nigeria. The study will delve into the root causes of corruption in the country, examining factors such as weak institutional frameworks, lack of transparency, and poor governance practices. By identifying these underlying issues, the research seeks to provide insights into how corruption has become entrenched in Nigerian society. Furthermore, the project will analyze the impact of corruption on different sectors of the economy, including public services, infrastructure development, and business operations. By understanding the far-reaching consequences of corruption, the research aims to highlight the urgency of addressing this pervasive problem. Additionally, the study will examine the existing anti-corruption measures in Nigeria, such as the establishment of anti-corruption agencies and the implementation of anti-corruption laws.
