The abstract is as follows This research project aims to investigate the distributional pattern of automobile mechanic workshops in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State. The study seeks to analyze the spatial distribution of these workshops within the local government area, identifying clusters or patterns that may exist. By conducting field surveys and utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, the research will map out the locations of the mechanic workshops and examine any spatial relationships or trends that may be present. Understanding the distributional pattern of these workshops is crucial for urban planning and policy-making purposes, as it can provide insights into the accessibility of automobile repair services for residents, as well as potential impacts on the environment and infrastructure.
