The project focuses on the development of a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system for medical imaging to assist healthcare professionals in the accurate and timely diagnosis of various medical conditions. The CAD system will leverage advanced image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning techniques to analyze medical images, such as X-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans, and provide automated diagnostic insights. The project will emphasize the development of robust algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and classification to enable the CAD system to detect abnormalities, tumors, and other medical conditions with high sensitivity and specificity. The CAD system will be designed to integrate seamlessly with existing medical imaging equipment and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and will contribute to improving diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes in clinical settings.
