Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate the antioxidant activity of various plant extracts through a series of experiments and analyses. Antioxidants play a crucial role in preventing oxidative damage caused by free radicals in the body, thus potentially reducing the risk of various diseases. The research methodology involved extracting antioxidants from a selection of plants using different solvents and evaluating their antioxidant activity through assays such as DPPH radical scavenging activity, ABTS radical scavenging activity, and total phenolic content determination. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to provide a theoretical background on antioxidants, plant extracts, and the methods used for antioxidant activity determination. The findings of the study revealed significant variations in the antioxidant activity among different plant extracts, with some demonstrating potent antioxidant properties.
