This thesis explores the adoption and application of Lean Management Principles within the context of SMEs, aiming to provide insights into the challenges, benefits, and best practices associated with this strategic management approach. Chapter One introduces the study by outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on Lean Management Principles, particularly in SMEs, highlighting key concepts, theories, and empirical evidence.
