Thesis Abstract

This project aims to analyze the impact of soil erosion on plant communities. Soil erosion is a major environmental issue that affects soil fertility, water quality, and ecosystem stability. It can have significant consequences for plant communities, including changes in species composition, reduced plant diversity, and altered ecosystem functioning. In this study, we will investigate the effects of soil erosion on plant community structure and dynamics in selected ecosystems. We will assess the relationship between soil erosion severity and plant diversity, as well as the mechanisms underlying the response of plant communities to erosion, such as seed dispersal and colonization ability. The findings from this research will contribute to our understanding of the ecological consequences of soil erosion and inform conservation and restoration efforts.
