This project aims to analyze the effects of different pollinators on plant reproduction. Pollination is a critical process for plant reproduction, and different pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, birds, and bats, play unique roles in this process. However, the specific impacts of different pollinators on plant reproductive success are not well understood. This study will involve observing and quantifying pollinator visitation rates, pollen transfer efficiency, and fruit and seed set in plant populations with varying pollinator assemblages. The research will also investigate the influence of pollinator traits, such as body size, foraging behavior, and floral preferences, on plant reproductive outcomes. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of the ecological relationships between plants and pollinators and have implications for pollinator conservation and plant reproductive strategies.
