This project aims to analyze the effects of different plant hormones on plant leaf senescence. Leaf senescence is a highly regulated process that involves the programmed degradation of cellular components and nutrient remobilization. Plant hormones, such as ethylene, abscisic acid, and cytokinins, play crucial roles in regulating leaf senescence. However, the specific effects of different hormones on this process and their underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Through this study, we will investigate the effects of various plant hormones on leaf senescence in different plant species. We will analyze physiological and molecular changes associated with senescence, including chlorophyll degradation, nutrient remobilization, and gene expression patterns. The findings from this research will contribute to our understanding of the hormonal regulation of leaf senescence and may have implications for crop productivity and plant breeding strategies.
