Trade unions play a crucial role in safeguarding the rights and interests of workers within an organization. One of the primary tools trade unions utilize to negotiate and advocate for their members is through strike actions. This research project aims to investigate the impact of strike action in the achievement of trade union aims within an organization. The study will explore how strike actions influence the negotiation power of trade unions, the outcomes of strikes on organizational policies and decision-making, as well as the overall effectiveness of strikes in achieving trade union goals. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative data analysis and qualitative case studies. Surveys will be conducted among union members and organizational management to gather insights into the perceptions and experiences related to strike actions. Additionally, in-depth interviews with union leaders and company representatives will provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play during strike situations. The data collected will be analyzed to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that shed light on the impact of strike actions on trade union aims. The findings of this research project are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on labor relations and trade union effectiveness. By examining the specific outcomes of strike actions on trade union goals, this study aims to provide valuable insights for both union members and organizational management on the implications of utilizing strikes as a bargaining tool.
