Microfinance banks play a crucial role in the economic development of Nigeria by providing financial services to low-income individuals and microenterprises. This study aims to explore the impact of microfinance banks on economic development in Nigeria. The research will investigate the various financial products and services offered by microfinance banks, such as savings accounts, loans, and insurance, and how these services contribute to poverty alleviation and economic growth. Furthermore, the study will examine the challenges faced by microfinance banks in Nigeria, including limited access to funding, high operating costs, and regulatory issues. Additionally, the study will assess the social impact of microfinance banks in Nigeria, such as empowering women, promoting financial inclusion, and fostering entrepreneurship.
