The research begins with an introduction outlining the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. A comprehensive literature review in Chapter Two examines existing research on blockchain technology, financial transactions security, and the adoption of blockchain in the banking sector. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. The study utilizes both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather insights from banking professionals, IT experts, and blockchain specialists. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the findings, analyzing how blockchain technology can enhance security in financial transactions, improve transparency, and streamline processes within the banking sector.
