Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to analyze the impact of financial technology (fintech) on bank profitability. Fintech has emerged as a disruptive force in the banking industry, revolutionizing the way financial services are delivered and consumed. This study will examine the various fintech innovations adopted by banks, such as mobile banking, online payment systems, robo-advisory services, and blockchain technology, and their effects on bank profitability. The research will employ quantitative analysis techniques to assess the relationship between fintech adoption and key profitability indicators, such as return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The findings of this study will provide valuable insights for banks and policymakers in understanding the implications of fintech on their financial performance and inform strategic decision-making in the digital era.
