Thesis Abstract
This research project aims to explore the use of art education as a tool for promoting sustainable development. Sustainable development involves meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Art education has the potential to raise awareness and inspire action towards sustainable practices. However, little research has been conducted on how art education can effectively promote sustainable development. This study will employ a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, classroom observations, and analysis of student artworks, to examine the impact of art education on students' understanding and engagement with sustainable development.
