Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the use of art education as a tool for promoting social justice. Art has long been recognized as a powerful medium for social change and activism, and art education provides a unique platform for students to engage with social justice issues. This study will investigate how art education can foster critical thinking, empathy, and a sense of social responsibility among students. Through a combination of qualitative research methods, including case studies, interviews, and analysis of student artworks, the project will examine the impact of art education on students' understanding of social justice issues and their ability to advocate for positive change.
