Exploring the Use of Art Education to Promote Cultural Heritage Preservation

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the use of art education as a tool for promoting cultural heritage preservation. Cultural heritage plays a vital role in shaping individual and collective identities, and its preservation is crucial for maintaining cultural diversity and fostering intercultural understanding. Art education can provide a platform for students to engage with their cultural heritage through artistic expression, research, and community involvement. Through a qualitative research approach, including case studies and interviews, this study will examine the effectiveness of art education in promoting cultural heritage preservation. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of strategies and best practices for integrating cultural heritage preservation into art education curricula.
