Exploring the use of art education to address mental health issues in schools.

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the use of art education as a means to address mental health issues in schools. Mental health problems among students have become a growing concern, and there is a need for innovative approaches to support their well-being. This study will investigate how art education can serve as a therapeutic tool to enhance students' mental health and emotional well-being. The research will involve qualitative methods, including interviews with art educators, students, and mental health professionals, as well as analysis of student artworks. The findings will contribute to the understanding of the potential of art education in promoting mental health and provide recommendations for educators to incorporate art-based interventions in their schools.
