This research project aims to explore the role of archaeology in enhancing the authenticity of tourist experiences. Authenticity is a crucial factor in attracting and satisfying tourists, as it provides a sense of genuine cultural immersion. Archaeological sites and artifacts have the potential to offer unique and authentic experiences to tourists. This study will investigate how archaeological sites can be effectively managed and presented to create meaningful and authentic encounters for tourists. It will also examine the challenges and opportunities associated with incorporating archaeological elements into tourism experiences. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of strategies and guidelines for enhancing the authenticity of tourist experiences through archaeology.
