Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to analyze the role of archaeology in promoting pilgrimage tourism. The study will investigate how archaeological sites and artifacts associated with religious and spiritual practices attract pilgrims and contribute to the development of pilgrimage tourism. It will explore the significance of these sites in religious narratives and the ways in which they are interpreted and presented to pilgrims. The research will also examine the challenges and opportunities in managing pilgrimage tourism at archaeological sites. The findings of this study will provide insights into the relationship between archaeology, religion, and pilgrimage tourism.
