This project aims to analyze the impact of climate change on coastal ecosystems and assess their vulnerability to environmental changes. Coastal ecosystems, such as mangroves, coral reefs, and salt marshes, are highly productive and provide essential services, including shoreline protection, carbon sequestration, and habitat for diverse marine life. However, climate change, including rising sea levels, ocean acidification, and increased storm intensity, poses significant threats to these ecosystems. The project will involve studying the ecological dynamics of coastal ecosystems, analyzing climate change data, and assessing the vulnerability and resilience of these ecosystems to environmental stressors. The findings of this project will contribute to a better understanding of the impacts of climate change on coastal ecosystems and inform conservation and management strategies for their protection and restoration.
