Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the concept of forest ecosystem services and their valuation. Forests provide a wide range of services that are essential for human well-being and the functioning of ecosystems. However, these services are often undervalued and overlooked in decision-making processes. This study will examine different approaches and methodologies used to assess and value forest ecosystem services, including economic, ecological, and social perspectives. The findings of this research will contribute to a better understanding of the importance of forest ecosystem services and their integration into forest management and policy-making.
