Forest-based forest resource governance and institutions

Thesis Abstract

This project aims to analyze the governance and institutional arrangements involved in the management of forest resources. It focuses on understanding the policies, regulations, and stakeholders involved in forest resource governance and their impact on sustainable forest management. The project will investigate the roles and responsibilities of different institutions, including government agencies, local communities, and non-governmental organizations, in forest resource governance. It will also examine the challenges and opportunities in promoting effective governance mechanisms for sustainable forest management. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of policy recommendations for enhancing forest resource governance and ensuring the long-term sustainability of forest ecosystems.
