Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The integration of technology in educational settings has become increasingly popular in recent years, with the aim of enhancing teaching and learning experiences. In the field of agricultural science education, the use of technology presents a promising opportunity to improve the delivery of agricultural knowledge and skills to students. This study explores the effectiveness of integrating technology in agricultural science education, with a focus on its impact on student learning outcomes and engagement. The research methodology employed in this study involved a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies on the integration of technology in agricultural science education. The review identified key trends, challenges, and best practices in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning in this discipline. Additionally, a mixed-methods approach was used to collect and analyze data from students and educators to gain insights into their perceptions and experiences with technology integration in agricultural science education. The findings of this study suggest that the integration of technology in agricultural science education has the potential to significantly enhance student learning outcomes. Technology-enabled instructional strategies, such as online simulations, virtual labs, and multimedia resources, were found to improve student engagement, motivation, and understanding of complex agricultural concepts. Educators also reported positive outcomes from using technology to facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences for students. However, the study also identified several challenges and limitations associated with the integration of technology in agricultural science education. These included issues related to access to technology, digital literacy skills, and the need for ongoing professional development for educators. Despite these challenges, the overall impact of technology integration on student learning outcomes was found to be positive, highlighting the potential benefits of incorporating technology in agricultural science education. In conclusion, this study contributes to the growing body of literature on the effectiveness of integrating technology in agricultural science education. By examining the impact of technology on student learning outcomes and engagement, this research provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders in the field of agricultural science education. The findings of this study underscore the importance of leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences in agricultural science education, ultimately contributing to the advancement of this important discipline.
