The declining youth engagement in agriculture within Rural Community X has raised concerns over the sustainability of local food systems and rural development, necessitating innovative strategies to attract and retain young farmers. This study investigates the impact of digital farming education programs on youth agricultural engagement, aiming to evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing interest, knowledge, and participation among the youth demographic. The specific objectives include assessing changes in agricultural knowledge levels, examining shifts in attitudes towards farming, evaluating the influence of digital tools on skill acquisition, and identifying perceived barriers and motivators related to digital farming education. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study integrates quantitative surveys and qualitative semi-structured interviews to generate comprehensive insights. The quantitative component targets a population of 400 youth participants aged 15-30 years within Rural Community X who have participated in digital farming education programs within the past two years. The study concludes that digital farming education is a potent tool for enhancing youth engagement in agriculture when complemented with infrastructural improvements and continuous mentorship. Recommendations emphasize the integration of user-friendly digital platforms into existing agricultural extension frameworks, investment in digital infrastructure, and the promotion of peer-to-peer learning networks. Future research directions suggest longitudinal studies to assess long-term impacts and comparative analyses across different rural settings. Overall, this investigation affirms the transformative potential of digital farming education in cultivating a new generation of innovative, tech-savvy farmers committed to sustainable rural livelihoods.
