Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting sustainable aquaculture practices. Aquaculture, or fish farming, is an important sector for meeting the growing global demand for seafood. However, unsustainable practices in aquaculture can lead to environmental degradation, disease outbreaks, and negative social impacts. Agricultural education can play a crucial role in promoting sustainable aquaculture practices by providing farmers with knowledge and skills in areas such as water quality management, feed management, disease prevention, and responsible fish farming techniques. This study will examine the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in promoting sustainable aquaculture practices and their impact on environmental sustainability, economic viability, and social well-being. By conducting surveys, interviews, and analyzing case studies, this research will provide valuable insights into the role of agricultural education in shaping the future of sustainable aquaculture.
